Our school and all of the courses we provide are registered by Yoga Alliance USA and our yoga instructor courses follows the international standards, set to ensure that our students can become a worldwide certified yoga teacher. Our graduates can register with Yoga Alliance, as an RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) after completing the course.
In Rishikesh our traditional yoga school is offering different kinds of courses. If you would like to dive deeper into the world of yoga, you can join our internationally certified 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course (YTTC), which is the foundation course to become a yoga instructor. This is a multi-style course where you learn Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. We also offer a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course. You can join this course if you have already completed a foundation course and wish to learn more about teaching methodology. In the 300-hour YTTC we cover the styles Ashtanga, Hatha, Yin and Vinyasa Yoga.
At our location in Kolding, Hatha Yoga World offers daily drop-in classes as well as workshops, retreats and Yoga Teacher Training Courses. The styles we teach at our studio in Denmark are Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. The word Hatha means the sun and the moon. This style is the traditional Yoga where asanas are practiced by staying in the pose to calm the mind, while strengthening the body as heat is created within. The practice of Hatha Yoga helps to balance the body and therefore the style has been named after the duality in nature.
Vinyasa is to flow and arrange the body in a mindful way in coordination with the breath. The movements can feel light and continuous. Flexibility is gained as the body gets heated up and strength is created in the body when engaging the muscles.
A passive style of yoga where the body is not being warmed up. This results in stimulation of the connective tissue to gain flexibility and better circulation of fluids and energy in the body. This practice helps to detox the mind and body.
